Keystone Bank Welcomes Byrd as Vice President of Digital Banking

June 28, 2022

Ty ByrdBee Cave-based Keystone Bank has hired Ty Byrd to serve as vice president/digital banking. He will spearhead the development of the bank’s digital banking services, helping to advance its goal of becoming an industry leader in the digital space. He will also take the lead on enhancing services for the bank’s core customer base of entrepreneurs in the Austin community.

Byrd brings more than 15 years of experience in banking—including residential home loans, small-business lending, treasury sales and branch management—to his new position. However, it was his knack for leading successful digital banking initiatives that made him an outstanding candidate for the Keystone Bank team, according to its press release. Byrd most recently served as digital banking operations manager for Texas Capital Bank.

“I was attracted to Keystone Bank’s unique position as a young, fast-growing enterprise, as well as the opportunity to grow a completely end-to-end digital banking model,” Byrd says.

“We’re thrilled to add Ty to our growing team, which features some of the best talent in Austin—and the industry, period,” adds Jeff Wilkinson, chairman and CEO.

Established in 2018, Keystone Bank operates financial centers in Bee Cave, Austin and Ballinger.
