Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

June 6–12, 2021

Branches

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has established a branch at 5440 El Dorado Blvd. in Houston.

The OCC reports that Bank of America National Association, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has applied to establish a branch at 2726 E. Berry St. in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Texas National Bank, based in Mercedes, to establish a branch at 4345 N. Expwy. 77/83, Ste. D-800, in Brownsville.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by The First State Bank, based in Abernathy, to establish a branch at 100 E. Hamilton St. in Stamford.

The TDB reports that Security State Bank & Trust, based in Fredericksburg, has established a branch at 15050 Texas 29 in Liberty Hill.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Falcon International Bank, based in Laredo, to establish a branch at 134 S. U.S. Hwy. 83 in Zapata.
