Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

June 5–11, 2022

Name Change

The TDB reports that Capital Bank of Texas, based in Carrizo Springs, has applied to change its name to PrimeBank of Texas.

Branches

The OCC reports that Bank of America National Association, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has established a branch at 2726 E. Berry St. in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that Texas National Bank of Jacksonville, based in Jacksonville, has established a branch at 704 S. John Reddit Dr. in Lufkin.

The OCC reports that U.S. Bank National Association, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at 15110 N. Dallas Parkway in Dallas.

The OCC reports that First American Trust FSB, based in Santa Ana, California, has relocated a branch from 1500 S. Dairy Ashford St., Ste. 400, in Houston to 25700 I-45 N, Ste. 400, in Spring.

The TDB reports that Western Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to establish a branch at 4800 Lexington Square in Amarillo.

The TDB reports that Freedom Bank, based in Alamo, has applied to establish a branch at 511 E. Gravis Ave. in San Diego, Texas.

The TDB reports that BOC Bank, based in McLean, has applied to establish the following branches: 104 S. Main St. in Miami, Texas, and 315 N. Main St. in Shamrock.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish the following branches: 3128 Forest Lane in Dallas and 3100 Independence Pkwy., Ste. 100, in Plano.

The TDB reports that Bank of Texas, based in Midland, has relocated a branch from 320 Texas Ave. in El Paso to 500 N. Mesa in El Paso.
