Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

June 30–July 6, 2024

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that First Texas Bank, based in Georgetown, has applied to merge with First Texas Bank, based in Killeen.

Name Changes

The TDB reports that First State Bank, based in Abilene, has applied to change its name to Avana Bank.

Home Office Relocations

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to relocate its home office from 100 Crescent Ct., Ste. 575, in Dallas to 4010 Maple Ave., Ste. 150A, in Dallas.

Branches

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish a branch at 1650 W. Maloney Ave. in Gallup, New Mexico.

The TDB reports that Texas Capital Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 1538 E. Southlake Blvd. in Southlake.

The TDB reports that Farmers and Merchants Bank, based in De Leon, has established a branch at 508 E. Central in Comanche.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 8651 El Dorado Pkwy. in McKinney.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, to establish a branch at 1306 Spacek Rd. in Rosenberg.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 6900 N. Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 125, in Plano.

The TDB reports that Comerica Bank, based in Dallas, has relocated a branch from 5757 Memorial Dr. in Houston to 5440 Memorial Dr. in Houston.
