Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC and the TDB report that The First National Bank of Kemp, based in Kemp, has completed its acquisition of First State Bank, based in Rice.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has completed its acquisition of AccessBank Texas, based in Denton.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Allegiance Bank, based in Houston, to merge with Community Bank of Texas NA, based in Beaumont.

Branches

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at the northwest corner of W. Little York Rd. and Hwy. 6 N in Houston.

The OCC reports that Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has applied to establish a branch at 8616 S. IH 35 in Austin.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by Community National Bank, based in Midland, to establish the following branches: 11807 Slide Rd. in Lubbock and 8040 E. Hwy. 191 in Odessa.

The OCC reports that Liberty National Bank, based in Lawton, Oklahoma, has applied to establish a branch at 5550 Granite Pkwy., Ste. 155 in Plano.

The OCC reports that First Financial Bank NA, based in Abilene, has applied to establish a branch at 119 N. LHS Dr. in Lumberton.

The OCC reports that The City National Bank of Sulphur Springs, based in Sulphur Springs, has applied to establish a branch at 101 W. Main St. in Atlanta, Texas.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has applied to relocate a branch from 101 E. Nolte in Seguin to 350 N. Hwy. 123 Bypass in Seguin.

The OCC reports that First Financial Bank NA, based in Abilene, has applied to relocate the following branches: from 1716 Briarcrest Dr., Ste. 400, in Bryan to 2445 Harvey Mitchell Pkwy. S in College Station; and from 33 State Hwy. 75 N in Huntsville to 2506 Pine Shadows Dr. in Huntsville.

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1900 Broadway St., Ste. 100, in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Freedom Bank, based in Alamo, to establish a branch at 511 E. Gravis Ave. in San Diego, Texas.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 3100 Independence Pkwy., Ste. 100, in Plano.

The TDB reports that UBank, based in Huntington, has applied to establish a branch at 6860 Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 110, in Plano.
