Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

June 19–25, 2022

Conversions

The TDB reports that Bank of Houston NA, based in Houston, has converted to a state charter as Bank of Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by The National Bank of Texas at Fort Worth, based in Fort Worth, to convert to a state charter as NBT Financial Bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch a the northwest corner of Maple Ave. and W. Mockingbird Lane in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by VeraBank National Association, based in Henderson, to establish the following branches: 200 River Point, Ste. 100, in Conroe and 1111 W. 6th St., Bldg. B, Ste. 200, in Austin.

The OCC reports that Legacy Trust Co. National Association, based in Houston, has relocated its main office from 1415 Louisiana, Ste. 1900, in Houston to 1801 Smith St., Ste. 1900, in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved applications by BOC Bank, based in McLean, to establish the following branches: 104 S. Main St. in Miami, Texas, and 315 N. Main St. in Shamrock.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 3128 Forest Lane in Dallas.
