Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

June 15–21, 2025

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Texana Bank NA, based in Linden, to establish a branch at 1680 Keller Pkwy. in Keller.

The TDB reports that North Dallas Bank & Trust Co., based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 4961 Fields Pkwy. in Frisco.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Benchmark Bank, based in Plano, to establish a branch at 5020 Collinwood Ave., Ste. 100, in Fort Worth.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Bank of South Texas, based in McAllen, to establish a branch at 7075 N. Expwy. 77, Ste. 4, in Olmito.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Citizens State Bank, based in Woodville, to establish a branch at 2009 S. Capital of Texas Hwy., Ste. 100, in Austin.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Wallis Bank, based in Wallis, to establish a branch at 1930 N. Loop 1604 E in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Powell State Bank, based in Powell, has applied to establish a branch at 229 Dowlen Rd. Ste. C., in Beaumont.

The TDB reports that Pilgrim Bank, based in Pittsburg, has applied to establish a branch at 2072 Three Lakes Pkwy., Ste. 300 and 400, in Tyler.

The TDB reports that First State Bank, based in Gainesville, has applied to relocate a branch from 520 E. Ash St. in Celina to 433 S. Preston Rd. in Celina.
