Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

July 9–15, 2023

Home Offices

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Sanger Bank, based in Sanger, to relocate its home office from 501 N. Stemmons in Sanger to 1405 W. Chapman Dr. in Sanger.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by VeraBank NA, based in Henderson, to establish a branch at 1021 W. University Ave. in Georgetown.

The OCC reports that The Karnes County National Bank of Karnes City, based in Karnes City, has applied to establish a branch at 1600 Hwy. 181 Frontage Rd. NE in Beeville.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish a branch at 2004 S. Pleasant St. in Springdale, Arkansas.

The TDB reports that Vantage Bank Texas, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 5151 San Felipe, Ste. 730, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Veritex Community Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 9655 Katy Fwy., Ste. 3160, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Worthington Bank, based in Arlington, has established a branch at 1696 S. Loop 288, in Denton

The TDB reports that West Texas State Bank, based in Snyder, has applied to establish a branch at 7202 Slide Rd., in Lubbock.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas First Bank, based in Texas City, to establish a branch at 1965 S. Loop 336 W in Conroe.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Capital Bank, based in Houston, to establish a branch at 1010 Bay Area Blvd. in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Tolleson Private Bank, based in Dallas, to establish a branch at 8111 Douglas Ave. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by TexasBank, based in Brownwood, to establish a branch at 251 Shadow Mountain Dr., Ste. A, in El Paso.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 5800 N. Mopac Expy. in Austin.
