Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

July 31–August 6, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Veritex Community Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to acquire StoneCastle Cash Insured Sweep LLC (interLINK platform), based in New York, New York.

Branches

The OCC reports that U.S. Bank NA, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has established a branch at 15110 N. Dallas Pkwy. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, to establish a branch at 8616 S. IH 35 in Austin.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank of East Texas, based in Gilmer, to establish a branch at 1460 Hillcrest Dr. in Sulphur Springs.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to relocate a branch from 101 E. Nolte in Seguin to 350 N. Hwy. 123 Bypass in Seguin.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 3092 Horizon in Rockwall.

The TDB reports that R Bank, based inRound Rock, has applied to relocate a branch from 2415 Williams Dr. in Georgetown to 1103-A Williams Dr. in Georgetown.
