Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

July 10–16, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Pinnacle Bank, based in Fort Worth, has applied to acquire Crockett National Bank, based in San Antonio.

Conversions

The TDB reports that The First Liberty National Bank, based in Liberty, has applied to convert to a state bank charter under the name First Liberty Bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that Lone Star National Bank, based in Pharr, has established a branch at 3100 N. Indiana Ave. in Brownsville.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by U.S. Bank NA, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, to establish a branch at 15110 N. Dallas Pkwy. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has applied to establish a branch at the southeast corner of Ronald Reagan Blvd. and Hwy. 29 in Leander.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by UBank, based in Huntington, to establish a branch at 6860 Dallas Pkwy., Ste. 110, in Plano.

The TDB reports that Western Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to establish a branch at the northeast corner of Kermit St. and W. 10th St. in Plainview.

The TDB reports that Normangee State Bank, based in Normangee, has applied to establish a branch at 401 N. May St. in Madisonville.

The TDB reports that Chappell Hill Bank, based in Chappell Hill, has applied to establish a branch at 1400 Blalock Rd. in Houston.

The TDB reports that Peoples Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to relocate a branch from 112 W. Hwy. 380 in Princeton to 100 Cole St. in Princeton.

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has applied to relocate a branch from 620 N. Grant St. in Odessa to 600 N. Texas Ave. in Odessa.
