Responsibilities:
- Promotes and emulates SSB&T Core Values.
- Directs operations of all Trust activities.
- Reviews and develops trust policies and procedures; interviews and counsels individuals on estate planning; calls on prospective accounts; administers and manages trust accounts; coordinates investments of trust assets; and oversees reporting of trust activities.
- A single incumbent position.
- Responsible for developing appropriate investment programs and ensuring that cash assets of the accounts (trusts and estates) are invested at all times.
- Discusses investment questions with the beneficiaries and obtains co-trustee approval on investment changes where required.
- The investment officer should be not only well-versed in the securities business, but should be able to relate specific types of stocks and bonds to specific situations.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 10+ years banking experience as well as 5+ years of fiduciary-specific or related experience.
