What to expect:
This exciting B2B cybersecurity sales position is responsible for new business development and customer retention within the territory of Texas. Essential functions of the role include:
- Managing, developing and growing an existing market.
- Selling across the entire product portfolio in the assigned territory with an emphasis on the financial services industry.
- Being the primary point of contact and building long-term relationships with customers.
- Helping customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in-person meetings.
- Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Managing short-term and long-term sales cycles using a needs-based sales approach.
- Representing SBS at conferences and industry trade show events.
- Maintaining accurate customer information in the company CRM.
- Having a desire to learn and grow in a sales environment.
- On target earnings estimated for this position is $100K+ with uncapped commissions and accelerated performance incentives.
Minimum qualifications:
- Two+ years consultative B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, technology or software solutions.
- Specific experience selling into financial services is a plus.
- Located in the state of Texas or willing to relocate.
- Travel as needed (up to 50 percent) throughout territory may be required post-COVID travel restrictions.
