Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

January 8–14, 2023

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has applied to acquire FirstCapital Bank of Texas NA, based in Midland.

The TDB reports that Texas Brand Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to acquire Harmony Bank NA, based in Kemp.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, to establish a branch at 5220 Avenue J in Houston.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch at the northeast corner of Ronald Reagan Blvd. and Kauffman Loop in Leander.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The City National Bank of Colorado City, based in Colorado City, to establish a branch at 2909 Sherwood Way in San Angelo.

The OCC reports that Bank of America N, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has applied to establish a branch at 12003 U.S. Hwy. 290 E, Bldg. 2, in Manor.

The OCC reports that The First National Bank and Trust Co., based in Chickasha, Oklahoma, has applied to establish a branch at 115 Cotton Field Rd. in Goldsby.

The TDB reports that PlainsCapital Bank, based in University Park, has applied to relocate a branch from 5 Riverway, Ste. 100A and 100B, in Houston, to 5005 Woodway Dr., Ste. 100, in Houston.
