Interstate Bank Announces Retirement of President/Chief Operating Officer Ogden

June 22, 2021

Joe OgdenPerryton-based Interstate Bank recently announced the retirement of president/chief operating officer Joe Ogden, effective June 30. He has served the bank for 41 years and has held the position of president and chief operating officer since 2014. Ogden will remain on the bank’s board of directors, a position he has held since 2010.

“We congratulate Joe on his career milestone and wish him a happy retirement,” says Danny Skarda, chair and CEO. “He has been a part of the management team for decades, guiding and directing the bank’s mission to provide operating efficiency. His knowledge and leadership made him a valuable member of our executive team. And his dedication to, and his love of, our community has made him the perfect fit for leading our bank and its people.”

Interstate Bank will host a retirement party for Ogden from 2 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 30 at Interstate Bank’s Perryton office at 301 S. Main.

Established in 1958, Interstate Bank serves the Texas Panhandle with locations in Perryton and Amarillo.
