Elgin-based Frontier Bank of Texas is strengthening its local footprint with the opening of a third full-service banking location in its home county. Coming this summer to Smithville at 107 NW Loop 230, the newest branch will serve residents and businesses in southern Bastrop County and the surrounding area. The opening of the Smithville banking center, Frontier Bank’s 11th overall, completes its Bastrop County footprint.
“Smithville, with its growing economy, small-town feel, strong community ties and increasing demand for trusted financial solutions, aligns perfectly with our vision for growth and excellence,” says Sarah Gutierrez, senior vice president/director of operations and strategy, who leads the Smithville team.
“We have wanted to be in Smithville for a long time,” says Patrick Johnson, president and CEO. “The right opportunity presented itself and it allows us to better serve our customers and those we hope will become our customers. Our roots are in Bastrop County and to be able to better serve another of our local communities is very rewarding.”
Established in 2007, Frontier Bank of Texas operates banking centers in Elgin, Bastrop, Austin, Leander, Manor, Round Rock, Taylor, Buda, Georgetown and soon in Smithville.
