After more than a year in temporary offices, Elgin-based Frontier Bank is relocating to a full-service Georgetown location on E. University Ave. The new facility marks the fourth full-service Williamson County location for Frontier Bank and the 12th overall for the Central Texas bank. Other Williamson County communities already served by the bank include Leander, Taylor and Round Rock.
“During the past year, it has become clear that Georgetown is a good fit for the banking capabilities and extraordinary personal service Frontier Bank is known for,” says Marcos Gonzalez, vice president/Georgetown market manager. “Georgetown is a community with its own identity and the families and businesses here want a bank that is more than a financial partner. They want someone who shares and invests in their town, their schools and their lifestyle.”
The Frontier Bank Georgetown location will host a grand opening from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on December 5, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce at 4:15 p.m.
“I love Georgetown and the people here and we’re so excited to be part of this thriving community,” says Rana Barghouty, branch manager/community banking officer. “The Frontier style of doing business is a great fit here and our new facilities put us right in the heart of things, making it convenient for our customers and easy for our team to engage with the community.”
Established in 2007, Frontier Bank of Texas has assets of more than $800 million and operates locations in Elgin, Bastrop, Manor, Austin, Leander, Buda, Round Rock, Taylor, Georgetown and Smithville.
