FirstBank Southwest Opens Loan and Deposit Production Office in Fort Worth Market

Matt Murray and Scott WhitakerAmarillo-based FirstBank Southwest has announced its new loan and deposit production office in Fort Worth. Matt Murray and Scott Whitaker will both serve as vice president/commercial banker for the new Fort Worth marketplace. Prior to joining FirstBank Southwest, Murray and Whitaker managed an extensive customer portfolio for which they maintained primary oversight of all goals, lending and deposit activities and customer interactions.

“Matt and Scott have a breadth of regional insight and banking experience in the Fort Worth market,” says Will Miller, chief lending officer. “They will be key contributors in helping us to grow our presence in the region, and we are glad to have them as part of the FirstBank Southwest team.”

Established in 1907, FirstBank Southwest has assets of $1.2 billion and operates nine banking center locations in Amarillo, Booker, Hereford, Pampa and Perryton, Texas.
