First United Bank Hires Ruthart for Commercial Lending in Amarillo

October 3, 2024

Brayden RuthartPlains Bancorp Inc., the holding company for Dimmitt-based First United Bank, has announced the addition of Brayden Ruthart to its Amarillo lending team. He will serve as vice president of commercial lending and will office at the Amarillo-Colonies banking center, located at 4501 First United Bank Pkwy. in Amarillo.

An Amarillo native, Ruthart spent nearly a decade working for financial institutions in North Texas. With his new job at First United Bank, he and his wife, Kelly, are happy to return to Amarillo to serve the people and businesses of West Texas.

Ruthart earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas.

Established in 1907, First United Bank operates 17 banking center offices in 13 West Texas markets.
