First National Bank Welcomes Davis as Senior Vice President

April 20, 2021

Buster DavisSpearman-based First National Bank has hired Buster Davis to serve as senior vice president. He has 33 years of experience working in all areas of community banking, including many years as a senior lender.

Davis earned a BS degree in ag business and economics from West Texas State University. He also attended the Texas Tech University School of Banking and Texas Bankers Association Ag Lending School.

Davis has lived his entire life in Gruver and is currently serving his 12th year as the town’s mayor. He is a member of the Gruver Lions Club. In addition, he serves on the board of directors for the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission, is president of the finance council of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and treasurer of the Knights of Columbus. In the recent past, he was the Gruver Youth Basketball treasurer, Gruver Youth Baseball treasurer and a Texas Municipal League regional officer.

Established in 1985, First National Bank operates banking offices in Spearman, Dumas and Perryton.
