Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

February 26–March 4, 2023

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The First National Bank and Trust Co., based in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to establish a branch at 115 Cotton Field Rd. in Goldsby.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Guaranty Bank & Trust NA, based in Mt. Pleasant, to relocate a branch from 500 W. 7th St., Ste. 150, in Fort Worth, to 100 E. 15th St. in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that Texas National Bank, based in Mercedes, has applied to relocate a branch from 4345 N. Expwy. 77/83, Ste. D-800, in Brownsville to 1414 FM 802 (Ruben Torres Blvd.) in Brownsville.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 1735 S. WW White Rd. in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by West Texas State Bank, based in Snyder, to establish a branch at 4803 Plaza Blvd., Ste. 802, in Odessa.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has applied to establish the following branches: 18460 Blanco Rd. in San Antonio, and 2025 W. Southlake Blvd. in Southlake.

The TDB reports that Veritex Community Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 9655 Katy Fwy., Ste. 3160, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Citizens State Bank, based in Anton, has applied to relocate a branch from 4718 S. Loop 289, Ste. 200, in Lubbock to the southeast corner of 24th St. and W. Loop 289 Access Road in Lubbock.
