Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

December 6–12, 2020

Branches

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has relocated a branch from 2801 Kirby Dr. in Houston to 2930 Kirby Dr. in Houston.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Guaranty Bank & Trust National Association, based in Mt. Pleasant, to relocate a branch from 1213 Ranch Rd. 620 S in Lakeway to 1008 RR 620 S, Ste. 110, in Lakeway.

The TDB reports that State Bank of Texas, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 8585 S. Gessner Blvd. in Houston.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 4425 State Hwy. 6 S in College Station. The agency also reports that it has approved applications by Frost Bank to establish branches at 11839 Culebra Rd. in San Antonio and 20002 Northwest Fwy. in Houston.

The TDB reports that Comerica Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 29333 Northwestern Hwy. in Southfield, Michigan.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by First State Bank, based in Graham, to establish a branch at 1220 N. Main St. in Jacksboro.

The TDB reports that Lakeside Bank, based in Rockwall, has applied to establish a branch at 5950 Berkshire Ln., Ste. 825, in Dallas.
