Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

December 15–21, 2024

Branches

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has established the following branches: 9324 Summer Creek Dr. in Fort Worth and 1055 Market Way Rd. in Argyle. The agency also reports that it has received applications by JPMorgan Chase Bank to establish the following branches: at the southeast corner of Woodland Hills Dr. and Madera Run Pkwy. in Humble and at the southeast corner of W. Bandera Rd. and Interstate 10 in Boerne.

The OCC reports that U.S. Bank NA, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has established a branch at 9753 Katy Fwy., Ste. 100, in Houston.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, to relocate the following branches: from 1824 Abrams Rd. in Dallas to 6322 Gaston Ave. in Dallas and from 7047 Harrisburg Blvd., Bldg. A, in Houston to 7003 Harrisburg Blvd., Ste. C, in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by The Cowboy Bank of Texas, based in Maypearl, to establish a branch at 1400 S. Rodgers St. in Waxahachie.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Coleman County State Bank, based in Coleman, to establish a branch at 3517 FM Hwy. 2288 in San Angelo.

The TDB reports that Texas Bank, based in Henderson, has applied to establish a branch at 7680 Preston Rd. in Frisco.

The TDB reports that American Bank of Commerce, based in Wolfforth, has applied to establish a branch at 8580 Belleview Dr., Ste. 120, in Plano.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 18725 FM 685 in Pflugerville.
