Henderson-based VeraBank has hired Donna Day to serve on its senior leadership team as executive vice president/regional president for Travis County. Based out of the bank’s 6th St. branch in Austin, she brings more than three decades of banking and leadership experience to her new role.
“Her incredible breadth of experience in commercial banking, leadership and community engagement makes her the ideal leader for this region,” says Brad Tidwell, CEO. “Donna’s skillset and deep understanding of the Austin market will be critical as we continue to enhance our footprint in Travis County.”
Day is an active member of the community, serving on the board of Austin Habitat for Humanity, as a trustee for the Better Business Bureau Foundation and as a member of the Austin Mid-City C12 CEO Forum. She has previously contributed to organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, SafePlace and BEAM, and was part of a task force supporting female founders in Austin.
