CommunityBank of Texas Strengthens Organization’s Future with Promotions of Bezdek, Davis, Sirkel, Walsh and Syrinek

Beaumont-based CommunityBank of Texas NA recently announced five leadership promotions within its commercial lending team: Chris Bezdek, Phil Davis, Jason Sirkel, Dennis Walsh and Jason Syrinek. Bezdek, Davis, Sirkel and Walsh—all regional CEOs—are transitioning into a newly created position as senior regional CEOs. Syrinek, market CEO, takes on the role as regional CEO.

Chris Bezdek takes on the new role for the Southeast and Northeast regions. He earned his MBA degree and finance degrees from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and has been active in Houston banking for more than 15 years.

Phil Davis’ new role focuses on the Southwest and Northwest regions. A seasoned banker with 35 years of experience, he earned his BBA degree in finance and economics from Texas Tech University.

Jason Sirkel takes on the new role for the corporate banking and SBA banking groups. With more than 27 years of management and commercial lending experience, he earned his BBA degree in marketing, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Texas.

Dennis Walsh will focus on the mortgage lending and community development banking groups. He earned his BBA degree in finance at Bentley University and has been a committed lender with more than 43 years of experience.

Jason Syrinek takes on the new role for the Southeast region. With more than 14 years as a Houston banker, he earned his BBA degree in finance from Texas State University.

Established in 1926, CommunityBank of Texas NA is a commercial bank offering solutions to small- and mid-sized businesses and professionals in Houston, Dallas, Beaumont and surrounding communities in Southeast Texas.
