Midland-based Community National Bank was recently awarded Outstanding Philanthropic Company by the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Midland. The bank was nominated by Kay Crites, executive director of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Permian Basin, and recognizes the generous contributions made by Community National Bank to more than 70 nonprofit organizations within the Permian Basin.
“It is our job as community bankers to continue what community banks have done for years,” says Bill Stovall, CEO of Community National Bank. “By supporting our local agencies and giving back, we are also improving the quality of life in our community and doing the right thing.”
Community National Bank accepted the award at the National Philanthropy Day Award Ceremony on November 11 at the Petroleum Club of Midland.
Established in 1984, Community National Bank operates 12 banking offices in Midland, Odessa, Stanton, Lubbock and Dallas/Fort Worth.
