Community Bankers to Return to Colorado for 22nd Annual Winter Summit

October 11, 2022

Members of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) will return to Colorado for the 22nd Annual Winter Summit, January 29–31 at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. The meeting provides a memorable opportunity for bankers to have face-to-face interaction and invaluable conversations with senior regulators and banking attorneys. Any community bank employee interested in regulations on the horizon is encouraged to attend, along with executive-level staff.

Industry experts scheduled to present at IBAT’s 2023 Winter Summit include regulators Charles Cooper, Texas Department of Banking; Dixie Claybrook, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency; and a representative from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Banking attorneys Chet Fenimore with Fenimore Kay Harrison LLP and Sandy Brown with Alston & Bird will offer the legal perspective. Dale Sheller, The Baker Group, will update the group with the latest economic trends.

Registration fees for the event are $695 for IBAT members, $665 for members of IBAT’s Leadership Division, $350 for spouses and guests and $795 for non-members. The discounted rate at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa is $299 plus taxes and fees. The deadline to reserve a spot and make hotel reservations is January 5.

The Winter Summit is one of the most favored programs offered by IBAT. Previous community banker attendees can’t say enough good things about the environment offered and the time spent with regulators and attorneys in a more relaxed environment.
