Community Bankers Honor Kreps-Colgan & Associates Executive Search Founder with President’s Award

October 31, 2024

The Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) honored Kim Kreps-Colgan, founder, president and chief talent officer of Austin-based Kreps-Colgan & Associates Executive Search with the IBAT President’s Award. The award was bestowed to her during IBAT’s recent 50th Annual Convention at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk.

The IBAT President’s Award is given at the sole discretion of President and CEO Christopher Williston to an associate member who goes above and beyond in serving the community banking industry and IBAT. The recipient demonstrates an ongoing commitment that extends well beyond delivery of services to IBAT members—it also includes consistent and passionate support of the community banking industry overall.

Kreps-Colgan & Associates Executive Search focuses on financial services with access to top-tier talent. Kreps-Colgan brings more than 30 years of experience as a staffing specialist and search director, during which she has connected bankers and companies from across the nation. Prior to founding her own executive search firm, Kreps-Colgan was vice president and executive search director at one of the most trusted consultancies in the financial services industry.

“I could tell you about the 92 IBAT events that Kim has attended over the past decade alone, or the numerous times she stood shoulder to shoulder with IBAT members in Washington, D.C., and Austin and all her years of service on the IBAT associate member advisory committee,” Williston notes. “Yet all of this would pale in comparison to the impact that she has made with her servant-hearted work for Texas community bankers.”
