Charter Bank Promotes Bourland to Vice President of Commercial Lending, Welcomes Nash to Commercial Lending Team

March 22, 2021

The board of directors of Corpus Christi-based Charter Bank has promoted Kirk Bourland to vice president of commercial lending. He has been with the bank since 2018, starting as a credit analyst/loan trainee. Bourland has a BBA degree in finance and BBA degree in business economics from Texas Tech University.

In other news, Daniel Nash has joined Charter Bank as vice president and commercial lending officer and will be working out of the Navigation Blvd. location. He brings eight years of banking experience to Charter Bank. Nash has been active in the community, serving as board president of Crime Stoppers and 2021 board chair for Ronald McDonald House. His volunteer work also includes Relay for Life and Habitat for Humanity. Nash received a BBA degree from Baylor University.

Established in 1962, Charter Bank operates three branches in Corpus Christi and one in Rockport.
