Charter Bank Announces Promotions of Zamorato, Kinsel and Brake

January 1, 2026

The board of directors of Corpus Christi-based Charter Bank has promoted Michelle Zamorato to vice president. She started her career at Charter Bank as a teller in 2016 and currently serves as head of the bookkeeping department. She is also an assistant operations manager.

Charter Bank’s board also promoted Morgan Kinsel to vice president. She joined the bank in 2018 as a credit analyst. Her responsibilities will be in operations.

Alyssa Brake has been promoted to assistant vice president. She has been with Charter Bank since 2006 and is responsible for operations and consumer lending at the Rockport branch.

Established in 1962, Charter Bank has three banking offices in Corpus Christi and one in Rockport.
