Cadence Bank Taps Mueller to Lead New Bluebonnet Division in Texas

November 13, 2025

Mike MuellerTupelo, Mississippi-based Cadence Bank has named Mike Mueller president of its newly created Bluebonnet division. He will oversee 17 branches recently acquired through Cadence Bank’s acquisition of Industry Bancshares and its subsidiary, Industry Bank. The branch locations in Brenham, Bellville, Industry, La Grange, Fayetteville, Columbus and Shiner employ nearly 150 people.

With 39 years of banking experience, Mueller has worked in nearly every area of banking. He graduated from Texas A&M University and completed advanced coursework at the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and the Texas Tech School of Banking. Mueller serves on the Blinn College Foundation board of directors and is a member of the Bellville Lions Club.

Established in 1886, Cadence Bank has more than 350 branches across the South and Texas.
