Mississippi-based Cadence Bank Promotes Parkman to Division President in Texas

Wayne ParkmanTupelo, Mississippi-based Cadence Bank has promoted Wayne Parkman to North Central Plains division president, overseeing six Cadence Bank branches covering Fort Worth and the greater Waco region. Parkman has been with Cadence Bank for nearly four years and in banking for 39 years.

“Wayne is a proven leader both within Cadence as well as with customers in Fort Worth, Waco and surrounding cities,” says Lester Lucy, Texas regional president. “We are fortunate to have him guiding our teammates in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the bank’s strategic objectives.”

Parkman earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and has studied at the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He serves on the banking council for the Catholic Charities of Fort Worth, the banking council for the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the advisory council for Tri County Electric Cooperative and the board of the Wildwood HOA.

Established in 1876, Cadence Bank has more than 350 branch locations across the South and Texas.
