Sam Brown has joined Waco-based The First National Bank of Central Texas to serve as senior vice president/business development officer. He will office out of the bank’s Woodway branch in Waco. Brown has 20 years of community banking experience in the Waco area.

Brown is a graduate of the University of Texas. He has held leadership roles with the YMCA, Caritas, HOT Fair & Rodeo, Derrick Johnson King of the Field Foundation and Public Improvement District. He is the current chairman of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce’s total resource campaign and a member of the chamber’s board of directors.
