Brown Tapped as Senior Vice President/Business Development Officer at The First National Bank of Central Texas

Sam BrownSam Brown has joined Waco-based The First National Bank of Central Texas to serve as senior vice president/business development officer. He will office out of the bank’s Woodway branch in Waco. Brown has 20 years of community banking experience in the Waco area.

Brown is a graduate of the University of Texas. He has held leadership roles with the YMCA, Caritas, HOT Fair & Rodeo, Derrick Johnson King of the Field Foundation and Public Improvement District. He is the current chairman of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce’s total resource campaign and a member of the chamber’s board of directors.

“We are thrilled to add Sam to our team,” says Joe Barrow, chairman and CEO. “His outstanding character, banking experience and deep ties to the Waco business community make him a perfect fit for our bank.”
