Barton Joins The First National Bank of Central Texas as HR Director

Liz BartonThe First National Bank of Central Texas, based in Waco, has hired Liz Barton to serve as vice president/director of human resources. The announcement was made by Joe Barrow, chairman and CEO.

Barton is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.

Prior to joining The First National Bank of Central Texas, Barton worked at Extraco Banks in Waco.

“Liz brings a level of professionalism and expertise that is needed to keep FNBCT a leader in employee benefits,” Barrow says. “In addition to her professional experience, Liz is active in community service organizations which is something we are committed to. We recognize that we have a responsibility to invest back into the communities in which we operate, and Liz brings a passion to that.”

Established in 1901, The First National Bank of Central Texas operates five banking offices in Waco, Hillsboro and Mart.
