Austin Bank Breaks Ground on Full-Service Banking Center in Montgomery

On October 12, Jacksonville-based Austin Bank broke ground on a new full-service banking center in Montgomery at the corner of Hwy. 105 W and Blue Heron Dr. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, area business leaders, the Austin Bank leadership team and employees, along with the SLI Group Inc. of Houston, architect and general contractor.

Construction of the new 4,472-square-foot facility is targeted for completion in the fall of 2024. The Montgomery office is under the leadership of Jed Crow Jr., market president, and Leigh Gilland, retail office manager.

Established in 1900, Austin Bank operates 36 East Texas locations within 26 cities and 14 counties. Austin Bank is locally owned and operated by the Austin family, which is celebrating 114 years of service in the Texas banking industry.
