Austin Bank Breaks Ground on Banking Center in The Woodlands

March 29, 2022

On March 9, Jacksonville-based Austin Bank broke ground on its newest full-service banking center in The Woodlands at Creekside Park. The ceremony was well attended by the Austin Bank leadership team, employees, both Montgomery and The Woodlands Chambers of Commerce, the Howard Hughes Corp. and area business leaders, along with the architect and general contractor, SLI Group Inc. of Houston.

Construction of the 4,900-square-foot facility is targeted for completion in fall 2022. The office is under the leadership of Daniel Wolfson, senior vice president/market president, and Alexandria Rogers, retail office manager.

“As we continue our expansion into Southeastern Texas and The Woodlands, we are extremely pleased with the leadership of Daniel and Alex,” says Jeff Austin III, chairman of the board. “They are leading a strong team implementing the community banking experience that has been our foundation for the past 120 years.”

Established in 1900, Austin Bank operates branches in 35 East Texas locations within 25 cities and 13 counties. Austin Bank is locally owned and operated by the Austin Family, which is celebrating 113 years of service in the Texas banking industry.
