Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

August 9–15, 2020

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that The Bank of San Antonio, based in San Antonio, has applied to acquire The Bank of Austin, based in Austin, and Texas Hill Country Bank, based in Bandera.

Home Offices

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by CapTex Bank, based in Trenton, to convert from a national association to a Texas state-chartered bank. The agency also reports that it has approved an application by CapTex Bank to relocate its home office from 106 Hamilton St. in Trenton to 2929 W. 5th St. in Fort Worth.

Branches

The OCC reports that Bank of America National Association, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has applied to establish a branch at 1803 Broadway St. in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has applied to establish the following branches: 2601 N. Tarrant Pkwy. in Fort Worth; and 8411 Preston Rd., Ste. 138, in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The First Liberty National Bank, based in Liberty, to establish a branch at 7110 FM 3180 Rd. in Baytown.

The OCC reports that Zions Bancorporation National Association, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has established a branch at 2334 S.E. Military Dr. in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that Sunflower Bank National Association, based in Denver, Colorado, has applied to establish a branch at8117 Preston Rd., Ste. 240–250 in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Rio Bank, based in McAllen, has applied to relocate a branch from 1655 N. 23rd St. in McAllen 701 E. Expy. 83, McAllen.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 14310 FM 2920 in Tomball.

The TDB reports that UBank, based in Huntington, has applied to establish a branch at 107 N. Phillips St. in Bullard.

The TDB reports that Peoples State Bank, based in Rocksprings, has applied to establish a branch at 5858 Texas 27 in Center Point.
