Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

August 6–12, 2023

Home Offices

The TDB reports that The Security State Bank, based in Winters, has applied to relocate its home office from 700 S. Main St. in Winters to an existing branch office at 4710 4th St. in Lubbock and maintain 700 S. Main St. in Winters as a branch.

Branches

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has established a branch at 720 S. 5th St., Ste. 100, in Waco.

The OCC reports that PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has established a branch at 300 W. 1st St. in Arlington.

The TDB reports that Comerica Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 17 Cowboys Way, in Frisco.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has relocated a branch from 930 11th Ave. in Greeley, Colorado, to 1130 8th Ave., Unit 3, in Greeley, Colorado.

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has relocated a branch from 620 N. Grant St. in Odessa to 600 N. Texas Ave. in Odessa.

The TDB reports that First State Bank, based in Gainesville, has applied to relocate a branch from 201 S. Preston Rd., Ste. 200, in Celina to 520 E. Ash St. in Celina.
