Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

August 22–28, 2021

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Citizens State Bank, based in Somerville, has applied to acquire Burton State Bank, based in Burton.

The TDB reports that The Chasewood Bank, based in Houston, has applied to merge with MergerCo Inc., based in Houston.

Home Office Relocations

The TDB reports that WestStar Bank has relocated its home office from 500 N. Mesa in El Paso to 601 N. Mesa in El Paso.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank has relocated its home office from 500 Harwood in Bedford to 100 Crescent Ct., Ste. 575, in Dallas.

Branches

The TDB reports that Falcon International Bank, based in Laredo, has established a branch at 134 S. U.S. Hwy. 83 in Zapata.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 2051 W. Airport Frwy. in Euless.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of America National Association, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, to establish a branch at 3814 E. 42nd St. in Odessa.

The OCC reports that PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has applied to establish the following branches: 660 N. Main Ave. in San Antonio; 512 N. Oregon St. in El Paso; 10456 Montwood Dr. in El Paso; 407 S. Commerce St. in Harlingen; 600 Matamoros St. in Laredo; 2101 S. 10th St. in McAllen; and 800 E. Tom Landry St. in Mission.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Lone Star Capital Bank National Association, based in San Antonio, to relocate a branch from 755 E. Mulberry, Ste. 400, in San Antonio to 15142 San Pedro in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that Cadence Bank National Association, based in Atlanta, Georgia, has applied to relocate a branch from 2800 Post Oak Blvd., Ste. 3800, in Houston to 1333 W. Loop S, Ste. 100, in Houston.
