Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

August 21–27, 2022

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that MapleMark Bank, based in Dallas, has withdrawn its application to merge with Oakwood Bank, based in Dallas.

Conversions

The TDB reports that The First Liberty National Bank, based in Liberty, has applied to convert to a state association under the name First Liberty Bank.

The TDB reports that Worthington National Bank, based in Arlington, has applied to convert to a state association under the name Worthington Bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to establish a branch at the southeast corner of Ronald Reagan Blvd. and Hwy. 29 in Leander.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, to establish a branch at 1895 University Dr. in Frisco.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Citizens National Bank, based in Cameron, to relocate a branch from 201 W. Palm Valley Blvd. in Round Rock to 110 S. Mays in Round Rock.

The TDB reports that International Bank of Commerce, based in Laredo, has withdrawn its application to establish a branch at 1663 IH 35 S in New Braunfels.

The TDB reports that Ennis State Bank, based in Ennis, has established a branch at 6970 FM 741 in Forney.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Susser Bank, based in Dallas, to establish a branch at 200 Austin Hwy., Ste. 401, in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that American Bank of Commerce, based in Wolfforth, has applied to establish a branch at 4501 114th St. in Lubbock.
