Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

August 20–26, 2023

Home Offices

The TDB reports that Global One Bank has applied to relocate its home office from 5060 Main St. in Chappell Hill to an existing branch at 1400 Blalock Rd. in Houston and maintain 5060 Main St. in Chappell Hill as a branch.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by USAA Federal Savings Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 10750 McDermott Fwy. in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish the following branches: 1607 W. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix, Arizona; and 2004 S. Pleasant St. in Springdale, Arkansas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The Karnes County National Bank of Karnes City, based in Karnes City, to establish a branch at 1600 Hwy. 181 Frontage Rd. NE in Beeville.

The OCC reports that Legend Bank NA, based in Bowie, has applied to relocate a branch from 502 N. Center St. in Bonham to 2228 N. Center St. in Bonham.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has applied to establish a branch at 2722 W. Bitters Rd., Ste. 126/128, in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 10739 N. Freeway, Ste. A, in Houston.

The TDB reports that R Bank, based in Round Rock, has relocated a branch from 1103A Williams Dr. in Georgetown to 405 S. Austin Ave. in Georgetown.
