Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

August 18–24, 2024

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to establish a branch at the southwest corner of Hwy. 423 and Hwy. 380 in Frisco. The agency also reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank to relocate a branch from 1031 Hwy. 181 N in Portland to the northeast corner of US 181 and Bay Breeze Dr. in Portland. In addition, the OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank has applied to relocate a branch from 999 E. Basse Rd., Ste. 300, in San Antonio to E. Basse Rd. and Broadway in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish a branch at 1650 W. Maloney Ave. in Gallup, New Mexico.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by American National Bank & Trust, based in Wichita Falls, to establish a branch at 203 W. Walnut, Ste. 101, in Decatur.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by BOKF NA, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to establish a branch at 24 Waterway Ave. in The Woodlands.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 901 Mopac Expy. S., Ste. 100, in Austin.

The TDB reports that Grandview Bank, based in Grandview, has established a branch at 209 S. Main St., in Salado.

The TDB reports that Maverick Bank, based in Fort Davis, has applied to establish a branch at 811 9th St. in Levelland.
