Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

August 16–22, 2020

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that Moody National Bank, based in Galveston, has applied to acquire a branch of Spirit of Texas Bank SSB, based in Conroe. The branch is located at 1010 Bay Area Blvd. in Houston.

Branches

The OCC reports that PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has established a branch at 3701 Vision Dr., Ste. 101, in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has established a branch at 8801 S. Congress Ave. in Austin.

The TDB reports that Security State Bank & Trust, based in Fredericksburg, has applied to establish a branch at 15050 Texas 29 in Liberty Hill.

The TDB reports that WestStar Bank, based in El Paso, has relocated a branch from 9343 Alameda in El Paso to 501 N. Zaragoza in El Paso.

The TDB reports that Austin County State Bank, based in Bellville, has established a branch at 401 N. Hwy. 171 in Godley.

The TDB reports that UBank, based in Huntington, has applied to establish a branch at 6120 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler.

The TDB reports that Benchmark Bank, based in Plano, has applied to establish a branch at 2727 Exposition Blvd., Ste. 117, in Austin.
