Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

August 1–7, 2021

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Texas National Bank of Jacksonville, based in Jacksonville, to establish a branch at 704 S. John Reddit Dr. in Lufkin.

The OCC reports that Inwood National Bank, based in Dallas, has relocated a branch from 1551 S. Buckner Blvd. in Dallas to 1605 S. Buckner Blvd. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has applied to establish a branch at 9655 Katy Frwy., Ste. 2200, in Houston.
