Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

April 4–10, 2021

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Lone Star Capital Bank National Association, based in San Antonio, to acquire Business Bank of Texas National Association, based in Austin.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to establish a branch at 1608 Town Center Dr. in Pflugerville.

The OCC reports that The City National Bank of Sulphur Springs, based in Sulphur Springs, has established a branch at 220 E. Jefferson St. in Pittsburg.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Southwest Bank, based in Odessa, to establish a branch at 4715 N. Midland Dr. in Midland.

The TDB reports that Texas Partners Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1717 W. 6th St., Ste. 110, in Austin.

The TDB reports that Bank of the West, based in Grapevine, has applied to establish a branch at 710 1st St. in Marble Falls.

The TDB reports that UBank, based in Huntington, has applied to establish a branch at 522 State Hwy. 31 E, Ste. D, in Chandler.

The TDB reports that Wallis Bank, based in Wallis, has applied to establish a branch at 9802 Colonnade Blvd. in San Antonio.
