Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

April 28–May 4, 2024

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish a branch at 4101 W. Wheatland Rd. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Investar Bank NA, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to establish a branch at 2657 S. Loop 336 W, Ste. B, in Conroe.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch at the northeast corner of E. Bonds Ranch Rd. and Hwy. 287 in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that Amarillo National Bank, based in Amarillo, has applied to establish a branch at 1700 Coulter in Amarillo.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Austin Bank, based in Jacksonville, to relocate a branch from 107 Old River Rd. in Montgomery to 18405 Hwy. 105 W in Montgomery.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Woodforest National Bank, based in The Woodlands, to relocate a branch from 602 Lawrence in Tomball to 14235 FM 2920 in Tomball.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has applied to establish a branch at 5709 W. Lovers Lane in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Wallis Bank, based in Wallis, has applied to establish a branch at 4805 E. Sam Houston Pkwy., Ste. 100, in Pasadena.
