Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

April 24–30, 2022

Branches

The OCC reports that Fifth Third Bank National Association, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at 1001 Fannin St., Ste. 4725, in Houston.

The OCC reports that PNC Bank, National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has applied to establish the following branches: 3903 Ichabod Circle in Arlington; and 907 Bank St. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Amarillo National Bank, based in Amarillo, to establish a branch at 1020 NE Loop 410 in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The Yoakum National Bank, based in Yoakum, to establish a branch at 3650 Billy Hext Rd. in Odessa.

The OCC reports that American First National Bank, based in Houston, has applied to relocate a branch from 1912 Avenue K, Ste. 100, in Plano to the corner of State Hwy. 5, Avenue K and 19th St. in Plano.

The TDB reports that Texas Brand Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 247 W. Davis St. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish the following branches: 1330 S. Loop 288 in Denton; and 7101 Warren Pkwy. in Frisco.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 1990 Post Oak Blvd., Ste. 110, in Houston.
