Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

April 23–29, 2023

Charters

The OCC reports that Inspire Bank NA, based in Houston, has applied for a bank charter.

Branches

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at the southwest corner of El Dorado Blvd. and Gatebrook Dr. in Webster.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to relocate a branch from 40 N.E. Loop 410 in San Antonio to 842 N.W. Loop 410 in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 14902 Preston Rd. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Worthington Bank, based in Arlington, has applied to establish a branch at 1696 S. Loop 288 in Denton.

The TDB reports that Wallis Bank, based in Wallis, has applied to establish a branch at 1970 Satellite Blvd. in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

The TDB reports that Vista Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 3835 PGA Blvd., Ste. 305, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has relocated a branch from 930 11th Ave. in Greeley, Colorado, to 1130 8th Ave., Ste. 4, in Greeley, Colorado.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Citizens State Bank, based in Anton, to relocate a branch from 4718 S. Loop 289, Ste. 200, in Lubbock to 2401 W. Loop 289 in Lubbock.
