Nafis NasimDallas-based American Momentum Bank has hired Nafis Nasim to serve as vice president/SBA business development officer III. American Momentum Bank is a designated “SBA Preferred Lender,” according to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The Tampa, Florida-based SBA Lending Division has been on a growth trajectory since announcing its national expansion in 2022. The bank serves businesses nationwide.

“Nafis has more than 10 years of SBA lending experience and is well-versed on the requirements of the small business administration,” says Patrick Fenech, senior vice president/managing director of SBA lending. “His experience, paired with his passion for helping small businesses, will make him a great addition to our growing team.”

Prior to joining American Momentum Bank, Nasim served as the senior business development officer/SBA lending for IncredibleBank, from which he received the top sales award in 2024. He has also served as vice president of business development for Enterprise America, a real estate services company offering commercial real estate loans and structured financing.

“The SBA lending division has the resources and infrastructure necessary to accommodate the SBA needs of my clients from across the country,” Nasim notes. “With a willingness to help small businesses and a strong support team, we can get SBA deals done quickly and with great customer service.”

Nasim earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and his master’s degree in finance from the University of Texas–Dallas. He is involved in various fundraising activities to support at-risk communities in South Dallas and regularly participates in food, clothing and meal drives to support those communities.
