Amegy Bank Unveils Remodeled Banking Center and New Innovation Hub In North Houston

June 1, 2023

On May 18, Houston-based Amegy Bank unveiled its newly renovated banking center in The Woodlands, located at 4576 Research Forest Dr. The refreshed space now houses The Cannon, an innovation, technology and entrepreneurship hub where North Houston business owners, early-stage founders, corporate partners, advisors and investors can come together to create a new-business ecosystem. The renovation marks the expansion of Amegy Bank’s partnership with The Cannon, following their first shared space in downtown Houston.

“Amegy Bank has served the needs of business owners and families across Houston for more than 30 years,” says Dave Stevenson, Amegy Bank’s Houston president. “The banking center’s refreshed design…will revolutionize North Houston’s access to localized financial resources tailored for entrepreneurs and small-to-mid-size businesses. The Cannon’s building presence will enable local startups and entrepreneurs to move seamlessly through the stages of startup production, with specialized business banking services just downstairs.”

The branch features a modernized banking space, novel client meeting and entertainment area, technology enhancements and a consolidated and upgraded employee workspace that will bring together multiple business lines, including business banking, commercial banking, commercial real estate, enterprise retirement services, mortgage, private banking, retail banking and wealth services.

Established in 1990, Amegy Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation NA, has more than 75 locations in Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth and Central Texas.
