Amegy Bank Expands in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with New Loan Production Office in Arlington

August 9, 2022

Shirley CoxHouston-based Amegy Bank has opened a loan production office in south Arlington as the bank continues to expand its footprint in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The new loan production office, located at 700 Highlander Blvd., Ste. 350, in Arlington, will be led by Shirley Cox, senior vice president of commercial banking. Cox is an Arlington resident with more than 30 years of banking experience. She joined Amegy Bank in 2021 under her current role, concentrating on growing the commercial market and assisting not-for-profit organizations.

“I am excited for the opportunity to build an Amegy team that will offer commercial banking services and products in Arlington—a place I call home,” Cox says. “But beyond commercial banking, we will also help fill the needs of not-for-profits in North Texas. Our goal is to support the growth and success of businesses that ultimately benefits our local economy across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.”

“Amegy is excited to bring its commercial banking services to Arlington’s business community under Shirley’s leadership,” says Kirk Wiginton, metroplex senior regional president. “Establishing our loan production office is proof of Amegy’s strong commitment to the success and growth of Texas’ communities, businesses and people—and our first step in building long-lasting relationships with the people of Arlington.”

Established in 1990, Amegy Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation NA, operates more than 75 full-service locations across Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth and Central Texas.
